Identifying features Upper body black with greenish blue overtones, yellow stripe along body, tail keel dark, finlets yellow wiih black edge, striations on belly. Maximum weight 175 kg (400 Ib). In adult fish second dorsal and anal fin are elongated. Pectoral fin long, reaches back to line of start of second dorsal.

Expected temperature range 18°C-30°C (64°F-86°F).

Fishing methods Trolling lures, hatd and soft head plastic, minnows, feather Sures. Trolling natural and strip baits, may be rigged with plastic skirts or squid. Drifting or at anchor. Live baits with chum, strip baits with chum, casting live bait with chum, casting lures with chum.
