Identifying features Upper body dark purplish blue on back sometirnes with vertical lavender blotches, lower body silver with the four to six conspicuous dark long bands. Maximum weight 35 kg (80 Ib). Barred body, four to six wavy stripcs on lower body below lateral Une. Expected temperature range 15°C-30°C (59°F-86°F). Fishing methods Trolling small lures, feathers, plastic squid, nylon jigs, small spoons, small knuckleheads, smal! minnows. Trolling small dead baits. Casting shiny metal lures. Fiy casting with chum. Eating quality exceilent for sashimi. | ||||||
