Identifying features features Upper body dark purplish blue on back sometirnes with vertical lavender blotches, lower body silver with the four to six conspicuous dark long bands. Maximum weighi 35 kg (80 Ib). Barred body, four to six wavy stripcs on lower body below lateral Une. Expected temperature range 22°C-30°C (72°F-86°F). Fishing methods Trolling with natural bait, ballyhoo (balao), mullet, strips, sometimes in conjunction with plastic skirts, squid and feather lures. Slow trolling live and dead baits, with downrigger or wire line. Trolling with lures, spoons, minnows, hard and soft head plastic with or without downtigs. Drifting oc at anchor with live baits and chum. Casting with live bait. Eating quality excellent. | ||||||
